Visit the St. Louis Federal reserve website fred.stlouisfed.org. Familiarize yourself with the type of data that is available.
Select any six economic indicators of interest from the website (examples include quarterly GDP and quarterly CPI).
Select and download 10 years of trailing quarterly data, ending December 2016 (you should have 40 total rows of data for each item).
Use Excel and/or the PHStat plugin to excel to produce a summary statistics table.
Create a Word document or PowerPoint presentation showing a) the data series in graphical form b) a table of summary statistics and c) your analysis of the data.
Submit your data file and your document or powerpoint presentation.

20 points for obtaining data.
20 points for production of an attractive chart.
30 points for production of a well organized table of summary statistics.
20 points for the analysis.
10 points for proper references, sourcing and how carefully details such as units and significant digits are handled.
